BIO

After transferring to CSULB two years ago, I have been an active member of the campus community, trying to involve myself in as many things as possible just like many of you, at first I too was unsure of what ASI was, did and how I could get involved. But after volunteering for campus events such as Smorgasport and Homecoming, and by meeting students with like minded goals in my classes I was fortunate enough to build friendships that led me to opportunities such as applying for the Student-at-Large position in Lobby Corps last Fall.

This semester, I am running for Senator-at-Large to continue my objectives in making positive changes to this school. I want to continue working on the path to promote accessible, affordable higher education for the entire student body population.

Students are my top priority because I am one. I know what struggles you go through, and I understand your frustrations because I go through them too. I know what it feels like to have to come to school an hour early just to find parking, having to circle around the lot and stalk people to their cars just to get a space. I know what it’s like to complain about $123 parking permits, and $500  student fees every semester & that feeling of uneasiness because you have no idea what you’re exactly paying for, or what an “excellence fee” even is. I get it.

YOUR struggles are MY struggles.

Let me continue to work on behalf of you, and I promise as your next Senator-at-Large I will do what I can to ensure a change to promote a better campus for you and for the future students that will come to CSULB.

RANDOM FACT

I love to travel. My dad works for United Airlines so anytime we have a break during the school year i'll go some place random.

This past Winter Break I went to Aspen, Colorado with my best friend because we wanted to go to the snow. (We got the idea from South Park) We flew out early Saturday morning, stayed for the day, played in the snow, saw Infected Mushrooms in concert, busted an all nighter and caught a flight back home at 6am.

It was pretty friggin epic.
